Dhaka: Land Minister Md Mizanur Rahman Minu on Sunday urged field-level officials across the country to align their work with public expectations while delivering land-related services: The minister made the call while inaugurating an advanced land management course at the Land Administration Training Centre in the city.

According to United News of Bangladesh, the minister emphasized the importance of addressing the various problems faced by people visiting land offices, urging officials to provide timely and legal solutions. ‘There are many laws related to land management which field officials must master. There is no alternative to proper training in this regard,’ he stated.

Extending greetings to the participants of the training course, Minu highlighted the need for officials to focus on implementing the directives of the current democratic government to promote progress in Bangladesh. He stressed the government’s commitment to ensuring transparent and efficient land services and cautioned against actions that could damage the reputation of field officials due to the misconduct of a few.

Minu also warned that any misconduct by field-level officials, whether intentional or not, ultimately reflects on the government, as these officials operate under its authority. ‘Therefore, everyone must remain cautious in this regard,’ the minister added.
