Dhaka: The results of the Fazil Degree Examination-2023 conducted by the Islamic Arabic University (IAU) have been officially released. The announcement was made by the University Vice Chancellor (VC), Professor Dr. Md Shamsul Alam, at his office.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Controller of Examinations, Mohammad Ali, presented the results to the VC prior to the formal announcement. The event was attended by prominent university officials, including Pro-VCs Professor Dr. Mohammad Shahidul Islam and Professor Dr. Muhammad Abu Zafar Khan, Treasurer ASM Mamunur Rahman Khalili, and several deans and directors. The VC extended congratulations to the teachers and students of the involved madrasas for their efforts and achievements.
This year saw participation from 117,295 candidates across three academic years. Out of these, 109,828 candidates successfully passed their examinations. The pass rates were recorded at 90.48 percent for the first year, 94.74 percent for the second year, and 96.55 percent for the third year. The examinations took place between January 14 and March 13.
