Bogura: Father and son were killed in a fatal road accident at Noymail area on the Dhaka-Bogura highway of Shajahanpur upazila today. The deceased were identified as Chand Mia and his minor son Abdullah, 4, of Bamunia Mandolpara of Shajahanpur upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred when a passenger bus hit them while they were crossing a road divider in the area, leaving both Chand and Abdullah dead at the scene. The tragedy unfolded as they were on their way to offer Eid prayers.
Police have recovered the bodies and sent them to the upazila health complex for autopsy.
