State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain today urged the young generation to be inspired by the spirit of the war of liberation and the principles and ideals of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
“We are working tirelessly for the development of the country by uplifting the spirit of liberation war and the ideology of Bangabandhu. If we can work properly imbued with the ideals of the Father of the Nation, it is possible to turn the country into a developed and prosperous country quickly. Therefore, we have to inspire our young generation with the spirit of the liberation war and the principles and ideals of Bangabandhu,” he said.
He made the call while addressing a virtual discussion titled ‘Mujibnagar Government, Liberation War and Young Generation’ organized by Greater Kushtia District (Kushtia, Chuadanga, Meherpur) Student Welfare Association, Barishal University as the chief guest.
Bangabandhu’s goal was to achieve the independence of this country, he said, adding that Bangabandhu was able to unite the people of this country through his indomitable, courageous and strong leadership.
His uncompromising attitude and visionary leadership made it possible for the country to achieve independence, he added.
Greater Kushtia District Student Welfare Association President Md Rokonuzzaman presided over the programme while Barishal University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Sadequl Arefin, General Secretary of Barishal University Teachers Welfare Association Khorshed Alam also spoke there.
