Engineers’ Critical Role in National Progress Highlighted During Engineers’ Day in Rangpur

Rangpur: Speakers at a discussion today emphasized the immense role of engineers in accelerating national progress towards building a developed new Bangladesh. They conveyed these sentiments during a discussion organized to celebrate Engineers’ Day 2025, marking the 77th founding anniversary of the Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) at its Rangpur center in the city.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the IEB Rangpur center marked the occasion with a series of vibrant programs including the hoisting of the national flag, taking an oath, releasing pigeons and balloons, cake cutting, a rally, and a discussion. The event was inaugurated by Rangpur IEB center President Suruj Mia, while honorary secretary Sakiul Alam administered an oath to the engineers to work with honesty and dedication for the nation’s development.



Suruj Mia stressed that every engineer must commit to working with honesty, dedication, and an indomitable spirit of patriotism to contribute to building a prosperous new Bangladesh.
