Election can’t be fair amid unrestrained violence: GM Quader

Jatiya Party Chairman Ghulam Muhammed Quader Friday condemned the attack on Netrakona Zilla Parishad chairman candidate Asma Ashraf and demanded immediate arrest of the perpetrators.

 

He, in a statement, said the supporters of the government have been carrying out attacks on Asma Ashraf from the beginning of the election.

 

The activities of these pro-government people are seriously disrupting the election environment, Quader, also the deputy opposition leader, said. “The election can’t be fair amid the unrestrained violence.”

 

Jatiya Party Secretary General Md Mujibul Haque Chunnu also condemned the attack on Jatiya Party leader Asma.
