Dhaka: A poetry recital titled 'Ekusher Kobita' is set to take place tomorrow at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in observance of Shaheed Dibosh (Martyr Day) and International Mother Language Day. The event promises to be a gathering of poets and reciters from across the nation, celebrating the rich linguistic heritage of Bangladesh.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury will grace the occasion as the chief guest, with State Minister Ali Newaz Mahmud Khaiyum also in attendance. The program will commence at 3 pm at the National Art Gallery Auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and will be chaired by the Academy's Director General, Sheikh Rezauddin Ahmed.
The Secretary of the Academy, Mohammad Zakir Hossain, is scheduled to deliver the welcome speech. The event, which will be open to all, aims to unite poetry enthusiasts and cultural figures in a celebration of language and cultural identity.
