Dhaka: Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain today announced that the Eid leave for doctors and nurses involved in the treatment of measles patients and emergency healthcare services has been cancelled. This decision was communicated during his interaction with journalists following an event held at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in the Secretariat this afternoon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the minister emphasized the critical need for uninterrupted medical services during the ongoing health situation. The cancellation of leave aims to ensure that sufficient medical personnel are available to manage the surge in measles cases and attend to emergency healthcare needs efficiently.
