Dhaka: Adviser to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Prof. Dr. Bidhan Ranjan Roy Podder, today emphasized the crucial role of education in shaping individuals into worthy citizens of society and the state. Prof. Podder highlighted two essential aspects of education: exploring individual potential and enabling skill development to prepare learners for societal and state responsibilities.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Prof. Podder addressed the National Dissemination Event of the 'Skill Focused Literacy for Out-of-School Adolescents (SKILFO)' project, organized by the semi-formal education bureau at a local hotel, where he served as the chief guest. He praised the successful progression of the SKILFO project, emphasizing the need to extend its benefits nationwide to sustain and expand its achievements.
The event was presided over by Primary and Mass Education Secretary Mohammad Sakhawat Hossen, with the Director General of the Semi-Formal Education Bureau, Debobroto Chakrabarti, delivering the welcome address.
