E-Passport Service Launched at Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad

Islamabad: The e-passport service was inaugurated on Friday at the Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Nasimul Ghani formally inaugurated the service as the chief guest, as stated in a press release today. The event was chaired by Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan Md. Iqbal Hossain Khan, with Deputy Project Director of the E-passport and Automated Border Control Management Project Commander Md. Shoaib Khan attending as the special guest.



The inauguration began with a recitation from the Holy Quran and concluded with a special prayer, seeking continued peace and prosperity for the country. The event saw participation from Bangladeshi expatriates, officials, staff of the mission, and their family members.



The launch of the e-passport service at the Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad marks a significant development, enhancing people-to-people connectivity between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
