Dhaka: As part of the preparation for the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) and Hall Sangsad Polls-2025, the returning officials have exchanged views with the student representatives from various departments and institutes for the second time. The second round meeting took place at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of the university today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the first round meeting was held on Sunday. During the discussions, student representatives provided their opinions on multiple aspects, including poll preparation, administrative cooperation, security arrangements, and the voting process. They submitted several recommendations aimed at ensuring a free, fair, and peaceful election environment.
The returning officers assured the student body that their recommendations would be considered with utmost importance and committed to taking all necessary actions to ensure a fair election environment. The meeting was chaired by Chief Returning Officer Professor Dr. Mohammad Jashim Uddin of the Biology department. Also present were Returning Officer Professor Dr. Golam Rabbani from the Social Welfare and Research Institute, Professor Dr. Quazi Mostak Gausul Huq from the Information Science and Library Management department, Professor Dr. Kazi Maruful Islam from the Development Study department, and Associate Professor Sharmin Kabir from the Education and Research Institute.
