Dhaka: Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has urged all concerned to remove all the banners, festoons, posters, advertisements, signboards, and election campaign leaflets, which have been installed illegally in the DSCC area on their own initiative. DNCC has issued a public notice in this regard today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, banners, festoons, posters, and advertisements on privately owned property, signboards, and election campaign leaflets have been set up recently at different areas in the city corporation without seeking permission from the city corporation authorities. The DSCC's public notice stated that such activities are a clear violation of the Graffiti Writing and Poster Sticking Control Act, 2012.
The notice further emphasized that the DSCC is requesting all concerned organizations, persons, or agencies to remove these illegal banners, festoons, posters, advertisements, signboards, and electoral campaign leaflets on their own initiative. This effort aims to build a clean and beautiful city.
