Dhaka: Commissioner of Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP) Dr Md Nazmul Karim Khan and Superintendent of Police (SP) Dhaka Md Anisuzzaman have been elected as the president and general secretary of the Bangladesh Police Service Association (BPSA).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, they were elected during the annual general meeting (AGM) of the association, which took place at the Rajarbagh Police Lines auditorium. The AGM granted the newly elected president and general secretary the authority to appoint other office bearers of the association within one month.
The BPSA serves as the organization for all cadre police officers throughout the country.
