Dhaka: The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has imposed a restriction on public movement within 200 yards of all Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examination centres, effective from tomorrow. This measure is aimed at ensuring a peaceful and orderly environment during the examinations.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, this order will remain in force on the days of the examination until the examination is held from April 10. The decision is part of efforts to maintain fairness and prevent disruptions during the examination period.
"As it is necessary to ensure that the examinations are held in a fair and peaceful manner at the examination centers, I, hereby declare that the entry of the public, except for the examinees and persons concerned with the examination, within 200 yards of the examination centers is completely prohibited," said a statement signed by DMP Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali.
The SSC and SSC (Vocational), Dakhil, and Dakhil (Vocational) examinations will be held at various examination centers in Dhaka Metropolitan City from tomorrow. The move is expected to help in conducting the examinations smoothly across the city.
