DMP Files 4581 Cases for Traffic Law Violations Past 3-Day

Dhaka: The traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 4,581 cases after conducting operations against traffic law violators in different areas of the capital Dhaka in the last three days.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the DMP’s Traffic Division conducted drives in different areas of the capital on October 15 and filed 1,720 cases, dumped 343 vehicles, and wrecked 62 others. On October 16, the division filed 2,008 cases, dumped 340 vehicles, and wrecked 94 others. On Friday, October 17, operations in different areas of the capital resulted in 853 cases, with 209 vehicles dumped and 59 others wrecked.



The DMP Traffic Division has vowed to continue its campaign to maintain traffic discipline in the Dhaka Metropolitan area.
