DMP Files 3,138 Traffic Violation Cases in Two Days

Dhaka: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) traffic division filed 3,138 cases against traffic law violators across the capital over the last two days. The cases were lodged by eight traffic divisions, with the highest numbers in Wari (660), Motijheel (533), Uttara (507), and Mirpur (520), said a DMP press release.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, violations involved buses, trucks, covered vans, CNG auto-rickshaws, and motorcycles. During the drives, 640 vehicles were dumped and 362 vehicles were seized.



The DMP stated its traffic operations to ensure discipline and road safety in Dhaka will continue.
