Dhaka: The traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed a total of 1,681 cases against motor vehicles and drivers for violation of traffic rules in the capital. A rigorous campaign was conducted to enforce compliance and ensure the safety of the city’s roads.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the campaign on May 28, a total of 183 motor vehicles were dumped, and 107 vehicles were wrecked as part of the enforcement measures. The DMP has emphasized that these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on Dhaka’s streets.
