Dhaka: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Sheikh Md Sazzad Ali today visited the office of the Detective Branch (DB), a wing of the DMP. Sazzad Ali arrived at the DB office around 10:00 am, located on Minto Road, as mentioned in a media release by the DMP. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during his visit, Commissioner Sazzad Ali engaged in discussions with the high-ranking officials of the unit. He also issued necessary directives to them to enhance the efficiency and operations of the branch. The visit was attended by other prominent figures, including Additional Police Commissioner (Detective Branch) Rezaul Karim Mallick and Additional Police Commissioner of the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit, Md Masud Karim, along with other senior officials. Their presence highlighted the significance of the discussions and the directives provided by the commissioner.
