Tangail: Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman today inaugurated the newly constructed building named 'Senaneer' for army personnel at Shaheed Salahuddin Cantonment located at Ghatail upazila in the district. The inauguration ceremony took place at 3:30pm, marked by the unveiling of a plaque and the release of balloons. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the army chief took the opportunity to tour various floors of the new facility, engaging in conversations with army personnel and their families. This interaction offered insights into the needs and expectations of the residents of 'Senaneer.' In a gesture of environmental awareness, the army chief also planted a sapling in front of the newly constructed building earlier in the day. The event highlighted the ongoing commitment of the military leadership to enhance the living conditions and welfare of army personnel stationed at the cantonment.
