Bogura: The Festival of Youth 2025 Divisional based Roller Skating competition for the Rajshahi division was successfully held at the Indoor Stadium in Bogura today, as announced in a press release. The event witnessed the participation of 103 young athletes, aged between 4 and 16 years, competing across nine groups.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event kicked off with a vibrant rally organized by the Bangladesh Women’s Sports Association and hosted by the Bogura District Sports Association. The rally, which showcased the enthusiasm and spirit of the young participants, set the tone for the day-long competition that followed.
The prize distribution ceremony took place in the afternoon, with several notable figures in attendance. Hosna Afroza, president of the Bogura District Sports Association, deputy commissioner, and district magistrate (joint secretary), graced the occasion as the chief guest and handed out prizes to the winners. The event was further honored by the presence of Md Jedan Al Musa, Superintendent of Police of Bogura district, and Lutfar Rahman, general secretary of the Bangladesh Roller Skating Federation, who were also part of the prize distribution ceremony.
