Dhaka: The district-based Men’s Handball League is scheduled to commence tomorrow at the Birshreshtha Noor Mohammad Stadium in Narail district. This event marks a significant occasion for local sports, as the league is organized by the Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) and sponsored by Moushumi Industries Limited. The opening ceremony will feature Deputy Commissioner of Narail and Narail District Sports Association Convener, Sharmin Akter Jahan, who is expected to inaugurate the league as the chief guest.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Cute District-based Handball League Coordinator and BHF Technical Committee Joint Member Secretary, Sayed Ahmed, will attend the opening ceremony as the special guest. The inauguration will kick off with an organizing rally, adding a ceremonial touch to the event.
Md Kamruzzaman, Narail District Sports Officer and Member Secretary of the Narail District Sports Association, will preside over the opening ceremony, ensuring the smooth conduct of the proceedings. The league will feature a total of 24 clubs competing over an 11-day period, highlighting the growing interest and participation in handball at the district level.
