Dinajpur: The pass rate of Dinajpur Education Board in the Secondary School Certificate and equivalent examinations-2025 is 63.03 percent while 15,062 students secured GPA-5. Among the GPA-5 holders, 7,546 are female students while the number of male GPA-5 holder students is 7,516.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a total of 185,067 examinees-89,292 male and 92,942 female students-appeared in the SSC and equivalent examinations this year. Of them, 122,146 students passed the examinations. The announcement was made by Dinajpur Education Board’s Examination Controller, Professor Mir Sajjad Ali, through a press release on the official website of the board.
He stated that both the pass rate and the number of GPA-5 achievers have decreased compared to last year. Last year, the pass rate was 78.43 percent, with 18,105 students obtaining GPA-5. In the current results, girls have outperformed boys again, with a pass rate of 69.78 percent compared to the boys’ pass rate of 64.38 percent.
The Education Board source revealed that 48 schools achieved a 100 percent pass rate this time. Students from 2,782 schools participated in the SSC examination through 280 centers in 8 districts of the Rangpur division under the Dinajpur Education Board.
