Diagnostic Center in Chandpur Fined for Illegal Possession of Injections

Chandpur: A local diagnostic center named ‘New Ibn Sina Diagnostic Center’ was fined Tk 30,000 for keeping 484 ampoules of government-allocated injections. Assistant Director of the National Consumer Rights Protection Department’s district office, Abdullah Al Imran, conducted the drive at the diagnostic center in the Muktijoddha Road area.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Abdullah Al Imran stated that the operation was part of ongoing market surveillance in the area. The diagnostic center was fined under the Consumer Rights Protection Act for illegally possessing the injections.



The seized ampoules will be transferred to the Civil Surgeon’s office through the Chandpur District Commissioner. Abdullah Al Imran emphasized that such initiatives will continue in the future in the public interest.
