DHAKA: The Dhaka Cantonment Ladies Club, under the guidance of the Headquarters Logistics Area, distributed winter clothing to 2,200 needy individuals in the Baunia area. The event, aimed at providing relief during the colder months, was marked by the presence of Sarahnaz Kamalika Zaman, the Chief Patron of the club, who acted as the chief guest.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Sarahnaz Kamalika Zaman expressed gratitude to those involved in the initiative, particularly members of the Ladies Club, for their support and collaboration in executing this charitable act. She emphasized the importance of continuing such humanitarian efforts in the future, highlighting the club’s commitment to aiding the underprivileged.
The event saw attendance from various dignitaries, including the president and vice president of the Ladies Club, the president of the Children Club Dhaka Region, as well as military and civil officers. Military personnel of other ranks and media representatives were also present, underscoring the significance of the initiative.
