Dhaka: Deputy Speaker Barrister Kaiser Kamal has expressed deep grief at the death of Dilara Hafiz, wife of Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Hafiz Uddin Ahmed (Bir Bikram). In a condolence message, the Deputy Speaker prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dilara Hafiz passed away today while undergoing treatment at Singapore General Hospital.
