Dhaka: A delegation led by Deputy Commander of the US Indo-Pacific Command, Lt. Gen. Joshua M. Rudd, today paid a courtesy call on Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-Uz-Zaman at Army Headquarters here. The meeting served as a platform for discussing the existing good relations between the United States and Bangladesh and exploring various issues of cooperation for future progress.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was marked by a productive exchange of ideas and reaffirmed the commitment of both nations to strengthen their military and strategic partnerships. The discussions highlighted the importance of continued collaboration in maintaining regional stability and addressing mutual security concerns.

General Waqar-Uz-Zaman expressed his gratitude to Lt. Gen. Joshua M. Rudd for taking the time to meet with him and emphasized the significance of such interactions in fostering international military cooperation. The meeting concluded with both sides agreeing on the need to enhance bilateral
