Dhaka: Three more people have succumbed to dengue, and 994 new patients have been admitted to hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours until 8:00 am on Monday. This has raised the dengue death toll to 85 in the country this year.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the latest fatalities have been reported in Dhaka North and South city Corporations. In the same period, 862 patients were discharged from healthcare facilities after achieving recovery.
Since the beginning of the year, a total of 29,923 dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals nationwide. Out of these, 27,758 have recovered and been discharged, while 2,080 patients are still receiving treatment.
