A fire broke that out at a slum in Dakkhin Khan area of the capital Saturday evening has been brought under control.
On information, four firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control at 7:45pm, said Md Shahjahan Shikdar, Deputy assistant director (media cell) of Fire Service and Civil Defense.
The origin of the fire could not be known immediately, he added.
