CUET Admission Test Successfully Conducted for 2025-26 Academic Year

Chattogram: The admission test for the first year of undergraduate studies at Chattogram University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) for the 2025-26 academic year was successfully conducted today. The test took place at the university’s main campus and two additional sub-centers in Chattogram city: Hazi Mohammad Mohsin College and Chattogram Cantonment Public School and College.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the multiple-choice question test was held from 10 am to 12:30 pm, followed by a freehand drawing test from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm. This year, 13,942 candidates were eligible to compete for 931 seats across 12 departments within the faculties of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Architecture and Planning.



Out of the eligible candidates, 12,099 students attended the exam, resulting in an 87 percent attendance rate. Following the test, students expressed their excitement and shared their experiences. Md Jashim Uddin, a student from Chattogram, mentioned that the questions were challenging, but he managed to complete the exam smoothly. He appreciated the supportive environment at CUET, where fellow students provided full support during the exam.



Lutfu Nahar, a student at Nasirabad Girls College in Chattogram, stated that they were able to sit for the exam without any issues. She noted that the questions in English and chemistry appeared somewhat challenging, requiring some effort to respond to the chemistry questions. Nevertheless, she acknowledged the diligence of the CUET authorities and expressed confidence in her performance.
