Chattogram: Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain emphasized that in addition to the city corporation's initiatives, it is essential for citizens to change their behavior to eliminate dengue mosquitoes. Each individual has a responsibility to contribute to dengue prevention from their own position, he said during an anti-mosquito campaign at the city's Patenga area today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dr. Hossain expressed a strong desire to prevent further deaths caused by dengue. He highlighted the importance of destroying the breeding grounds of Aedes mosquitoes as a key strategy to control the disease. He urged all citizens to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings and to remove stagnant water every three days.
Senior officials of the CCC were present at the event, supporting the mayor's call for active citizen involvement in combating dengue.
