Create a Society Where No Unclaimed Body to Be Found: Chief Adviser Yunus

Dhaka: Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has emphasized the significant role played by Anjuman Mufidul Islam in Bangladesh, particularly in burying unclaimed bodies and caring for orphaned children. He highlighted the organization’s long-standing dedication to these causes and its unique position within the subcontinent during a doa and iftar mahfil at the charity’s Kakrail office.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Chief Adviser inaugurated the new ‘Anjuman JR Tower’ and participated in an iftar event with orphans. He remarked on the organization’s commitment to recovering and burying unclaimed bodies across the country, even in challenging situations such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Prof. Yunus praised Anjuman Mufidul Islam for its discreet operations and its historical significance in Bangladesh and the Muslim community.



Prof. Yunus expressed his desire to see a society where unclaimed bodies are no longer a reality, urging Anjuman Mufidul Islam to continue its essential work while advocating for societal improvements to prevent bodies from being left unclaimed. He called for collective efforts to address societal flaws and encouraged individuals to contribute to societal betterment from their respective positions.



The Chief Adviser expressed gratitude to the dedicated individuals involved with Anjuman Mufidul Islam and hoped for the expansion of its activities. The event was attended by advisers Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed and Ali Imam Majumder, as well as Anjuman Mufidul Islam president Mufleh R Osmany and vice-president Ghulam Rahman.
