Corruption in Land Services Will Not Be Tolerated: Mir Helal

Dhaka: State Minister for Land Barrister Mir Mohammed Helal Uddin today declared that any corruption in land services will not be tolerated, and strict action will be taken against those involved. He emphasized the need for integrity in land management to maintain the system's reputation. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Mir Mohammed Helal Uddin addressed a certificate distribution ceremony for trainees who completed the 48th and 49th Basic Land Management Courses. The event, organized by the Ministry of Land, was held at the Land Administration Training Centre in the capital. The state minister highlighted that a percentage of people involved in land management are corrupt, threatening the entire system's reputation. He stressed the importance of identifying these individuals and taking strict measures against them. Addressing the trainee assistant commissioners (land), Mir Helal urged them to perform their duties in a manner that reinforces citizens' understanding of their ownership of the state. He called for honesty and efficiency in their work and encouraged them to inspire their colleagues to follow their example.
