Consensus Commission’s 2nd Round Talks with Political Parties Begins Tomorrow

Dhaka: Second round of dialogue of the National Consensus Commission with the political parties will begin tomorrow. The dialogue will begin at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital at 4:30 pm.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus will inaugurate the dialogue. This was announced by Chief Advisor’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder during a press briefing at the Foreign Service Academy.



He mentioned that all political parties and stakeholders involved in the reform process have been invited to join the dialogue. Azad also highlighted that it is anticipated that the July Charter could be finalized through this dialogue.



In addition to tomorrow’s meeting, Azad noted that two more rounds of talks are planned to be held before and after Eid-ul-Azha. Chief Advisor’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam and Senior Assistant Press Secretary Foyez Ahammad were also present at the press briefing.
