Dhaka: The National Consensus Commission (NCC) today held another round of discussions to review recommendations regarding the implementation methods and mechanisms of the July National Charter 2025. The meeting took place at the NCC office in the National Parliament Complex and reviewed previously discussed issues.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was attended by notable figures including Dhaka University Law Faculty Dean Prof. Muhammad Ekramul Haque, Senior Advocate of the Bangladesh Supreme Court Dr. Sharif Bhuiyan, Barrister Imran Siddique, and Barrister Tanim Hussain Shawon. Additionally, retired Justices of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, M A Matin and Moinul Islam Chowdhury, joined the discussion virtually.
NCC Vice-Chairman Professor Ali Riaz and members Dr. Badiul Alam Majumder, Justice Md. Emdadul Haque, Dr. Iftekharuzzaman, and Dr. Md. Ayub Miah were also present at the discussion. Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant Monir Haidar, who plays a role in the National Consensus Formation Process, was in attendance as well.
