Commonwealth Observer Mission Chief Commends Bangladesh Election Environment

Dhaka: The Head of the Commonwealth Election Observer Mission and former President of Ghana, William Nana Akufo-Addo, expressed satisfaction with the environment of Bangladesh’s National Parliamentary Election and referendum. He visited a polling center in the capital, where he assessed the ongoing electoral process.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Akufo-Addo visited the Viqarunnisa Noon School polling center in Dhaka and shared his positive impression about the voting environment. He noted that the process had been peaceful and expressed his hope that this peaceful atmosphere would persist throughout the country during the elections.



The Commonwealth Election Observer Mission, under Akufo-Addo’s leadership, is tasked with monitoring Bangladesh’s 13th National Parliamentary Election to ensure its fairness and transparency.
