Dhaka: The Ministries of Commerce and Textiles and Jute have announced a collaborative effort to organize a commemorative event tomorrow, dedicated to the July Uprising. This special programme is scheduled to take place at 3 pm at the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) auditorium, located in the bustling area of Karwan Bazar in the capital.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event will include a variety of activities aimed at honoring the memory of the July Uprising. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear the memoir of a July fighter and view a screening of the documentary “Shono Mohajan.” The programme will also feature testimonials from the families of martyrs, a photo exhibition, a recital of July songs, and a discussion session.
The event is set to be graced by the presence of Sk. Bashir Uddin, Adviser to the Commerce and Textiles and Jute Ministries, who will attend as the chief guest. Additionally, Textiles and Jute Secretary Md Abdur Rouf and Commerce Secretary Mahbubur Rahman will be present as special guests, further highlighting the significance of this commemorative occasion.
