CMP’s Annual Captain Conference 2024 Held in Savar.

Savar: The Corps of Military Police (CMP) of the Bangladesh Army today organized the Annual Captain Conference-2024 at the Corps of Military Police Centre and School (CMPC and S), adjacent to the Savar Cantonment. Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman attended the event as the chief guest, as reported in a press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) this evening.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, General Waker-Uz-Zaman, in his speech, paid tribute to the contributions of all valiant freedom fighters, including the brave CMP soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the Great War of Independence. He further lauded the CMP’s significant role on the international stage and extended congratulations to every member of the corps on this occasion.

General Waker also highlighted the esteemed tradition of the CMP in ensuring the order and security of the army and emphasized the Corps’ contributions to the nation. He engaged in discussions with attendees on various topics, including techni
cal development, research, the enhancement of professional skills, and future plans for the corps.

Upon his arrival at the CMP Center and School, General Waker was received by the GOC, Army Training and Doctrine Command, GOC, 9 Infantry Division and Area Commander of the Savar area, and the Commandant of CMPC and S. The event was attended by high-ranking officials, including the Chief of General Staff of the Army, GOC of Army Training and Doctrine Command, GOC of 9 Infantry Division and Savar Area Commander, the Adjutant General of the Army, senior military officers from Army Headquarters, CMP unit commanders, and media personalities.
