Sylhet: Commerce Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir today emphasized the government's commitment to ensuring the rights of every citizen as part of its ongoing efforts to reach the highest level of development. He addressed journalists after participating in Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the historic Shahi Eidgah ground in Sylhet.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the commerce minister highlighted that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, is working tirelessly to meet the sky-high expectations of the people who elected them. He noted that controlling commodity prices remains a significant priority for the current administration, and they have successfully managed to keep prices within the purchasing capacity of citizens.
Minister Muktadir reaffirmed the government's dedication to advancing the country through unified efforts and dynamic leadership. He was accompanied by notable figures including Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Ariful Haque Chowdhury, Sylhet-3 lawmaker MA Malek, and other key officials and community leaders at the Eid congregation.
