Lakshmipur: Water Resources Minister and BNP Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee today called for collective efforts to build a beautiful and developed Bangladesh. He made this appeal after offering Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at Sonamia Eidgah ground in Lakshmipur town.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the minister extended greetings and Eid-ul-Fitr wishes to the devotees, emphasizing that one month has passed since the formation of the government and its activities are already visible. He assured that this momentum will continue. Anee highlighted the cooperation and sincerity received from the people since assuming office, urging that this trend must be maintained. He stressed that the government is working with full commitment and dedication.
Furthermore, Anee stated that the government's goal is to build a new and better Bangladesh by working together with the people. He expressed hope that through unity, cooperation, and sincerity, a prosperous nation can be achieved. After the prayers, he took the opportunity to exchange greetings with worshippers.
The event was attended by notable figures including Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Lakshmipur SM Mehdi Hasan, Bangladesh Football Federation Vice President Wahid Uddin Chowdhury Happy, Sadar Upazila BNP President Main Uddin Chowdhury Riaz, and District Jubo Dal General Secretary Rashidul Hasan Lincoln. Eid-ul-Fitr prayers were also held in different mosques across the district in a festive atmosphere. However, due to rain, most worshippers offered prayers inside the mosques.
