South Gulshan:The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID), along with the Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) and Special Response Battalion-1 (SRB-1), has sealed four warehouses belonging to Toss Bond Private Limited in South Gulshan. The action was taken due to suspected irregularities related to the storage of duty-free liquor.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a press release from the National Board of Revenue (NBR) indicated that the CIID discovered Toss Bond had two officially authorized warehouses. However, during an inspection, it was found that goods were being stored in a total of four warehouses, which included two unauthorized locations.

The warehouses were sealed to prevent unauthorized transfer or removal of duty-free or bonded goods. This measure aims to ensure that a thorough investigation can be conducted.

The investigation and verification process are ongoing, with authorities stating that more details will be shared upon the completion of the verification.
