Chittagong: The first-year honours admission tests for the 2025-26 academic session at Chittagong University (CU) are scheduled to begin on January 2, with the online application process opening on December 1.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the decision was made during a meeting of the university's Admission Management Committee, chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yeahia Akhter. The admission tests will span from January 2 to January 12, 2026, with prospective students required to submit their applications online from December 1 to December 15, 2025.
The tentative unit-wise test dates are set as follows: Unit A on January 2, Unit B on January 3, Unit C on January 9, and Unit D on January 10. Separate dates have been allocated for the sub-unit tests, with B1 on January 5, B2 on January 6, and D1 on January 12.
The admission tests for Units A, B, C, and D will take place simultaneously across three centres: Chittagong University campus, Dhaka University campus, and Rajshahi University campus. However, tests for Sub-units B1, B2, and D1 will be exclusively held at the Chittagong University campus.

The meeting was attended by several key figures, including CU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Prof. Dr. Mohammed Shamim Uddin Khan, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin, deans of various faculties, and other senior officials.
