Chittagong:The authorities at Chittagong University (CU) have announced a ban on flying drone cameras within the campus without obtaining prior permission from the proctor's office.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, this directive was communicated through an urgent notice issued by CU Proctor Professor Dr. Md. Kamrul Hossain. The notice emphasizes the importance of maintaining overall security and discipline on campus, which necessitates the strict prohibition of unauthorized drone flights.
The notice further outlines that any individual who finds it necessary to fly a drone within the campus must first secure permission from the Proctor Office and adhere to relevant government regulations. The university administration has warned that legal action will be taken against anyone who violates this directive.
