Manikganj:Children's Rights Day 2026, along with Children's Rights Week, was celebrated in Manikganj under the auspices of the Manikganj District Children Affairs Office.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a discussion was organized in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner to mark the occasion. Deputy Commissioner Nazmun Ara Sultana attended the event as the chief guest.
In her address, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of family, administration, and society in contributing to the development and well-being of children. She assured that necessary initiatives will continue to ensure a safe and prosperous future for children.
The event also featured speeches from Additional Deputy Commissioners Mohammad Nazmul Hasan Khan and Khayrul Islam, District Primary Education Officer Gokul Chandra Debnath, District Children Affairs Officer Md Iftekharul Alam, as well as child speakers Laisa Rahman and Projot Roy.
