Putrajaya: Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus joined Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim for lunch at the residence of the latter today. The luncheon was hosted by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in honor of Chief Adviser Prof Yunus.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, members of the Malaysian Cabinet and the Chief Adviser’s entourage were also present during the luncheon. The gathering provided an opportunity for both leaders to engage in discussions while enjoying a cultural function performed by local artists.
Earlier in the day, Prof Yunus received a warm welcome from school students upon his arrival at the Prime Minister’s residence. The Chief Adviser had arrived in Kuala Lumpur the previous evening, marking the start of a three-day state visit at the invitation of the Malaysian Prime Minister.
