Chuadanga:A tragic accident occurred early this morning when a cattle-laden trolley fell into a roadside ditch at the Nurnagar Munna intersection, located on the outskirts of Chuadanga. The incident resulted in the death of one man and injuries to two others.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the deceased was identified as Helal, 38, a cattle trader from Sabujnagar village in the Mathbaria upazila of Pirojpur district. The injured individuals were identified as the trolley driver, Tarachand, and another person named Shipon.
The accident took place around 400 am on the Chuadanga-Jhenaidah highway when the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading the trolley to plunge into the ditch. Helal died on the spot, while the two injured were swiftly taken to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital for treatment.
Sub-Inspector Mizan from Chuadanga Sadar Police Station confirmed the details of the incident.
