Dhaka: Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus is set to engage in crucial talks with the leaders of major political parties tomorrow, aiming to promote national unity. This announcement was made by Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam during a press briefing at the Foreign Service Academy this evening. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the chief adviser has also extended invitations to leaders of religious groups for a dialogue scheduled for Thursday. The primary objective of these meetings is to forge national unity, as emphasized by Alam, who stated, "The main aim of the two meetings is forging national unity. He (the chief adviser) will call for national unity." In addition to these upcoming dialogues, the chief adviser is currently holding a meeting with student leaders at the State Guest House Jamuna. This initiative underscores the chief adviser's commitment to involving various sectors of society in the discussion on unity. Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam highlighted the critical impo rtance of national unity in the face of challenges posed by misinformation campaigns allegedly propagated by Indian media against Bangladesh. "We must resist the misinformation campaign unitedly," Alam stressed, pointing out the necessity of a united front to counteract these external pressures.
