Rajshahi: A daylong Career Expo on AI Empowered Employment Opportunities 2025 was held at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) today. RUET Vice-Chancellor Prof SM Abdur Razzaque inaugurated the event as the chief guest. The expo saw participation from around 18 renowned institutions and companies, which collected Curriculum Vitae (CVs) from students across various higher education institutions in Rajshahi.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the expo featured a seminar entitled 'Changing Job in the Age of AI and Robotics' held at the RUET auditorium. The seminar was addressed by Secretary to the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division Shish Haider Chowdhury and RUET Vice-Chancellor Prof SM Abdur Razzaque, who served as the chief and special guests, respectively. The seminar was chaired by Engineer Ziaur Rahman, Project Director of BDSET.
Additional Divisional Commissioner Rezaul Alam Sarker and ICT Division Joint Secretary Saiful Hassan were also among the speakers at the seminar. Prof Muhammad Rokonuzzaman from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at North South University presented the keynote paper, shedding light on the evolving job landscape in the era of AI and robotics.
