Rangpur: At the closing ceremony of the five-day training course, officials and experts have urged entrepreneurs to apply their knowledge gained from the training to business practices to increase the productivity of their organizations. Rangpur district office of Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) organized the closing ceremony of the 'Industrial Entrepreneurship Development' training at its office in the city on Thursday afternoon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Md Abu Sayeed as the chief guest, with Deputy General Manager of Rangpur District BSCIC Office Md Ehsanul Haque presiding over the ceremony. The chief guest highlighted BSCIC's pivotal role in the industrial development of the country by creating employment opportunities and enhancing the skills of micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs through training and advice. He emphasized the importance of entrepreneurs embracing modern technology-based services to boost productivity in their products and services. Special emphasis is also being placed on the development of women entrepreneurs, with the government providing comprehensive support to entrepreneurs through such training programs.
In his closing speech, Md Ehsanul Haque stressed the importance of skilled manpower with technological knowledge for increasing organizational productivity and quality of products or services. He remarked that productivity growth is indicative of efficiency and positive progress in organizational management, necessitating the presence of skilled manpower with technical knowledge. He urged the trainees to effectively utilize the knowledge acquired during the training to plan and manage their businesses successfully.
The ceremony concluded with the chief guest distributing certificates to 25 trainees who participated in the training course. The participants were educated on various pivotal topics, including the qualities of a successful entrepreneur, SWOT analysis, and production management.
