CAAB Opens Nafisa Hossain Marwa Day Care Centre.

Dhaka: The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) today inaugurated a child day care centre named after July-August Revolution martyr Nafisa Hossain Marwa at its headquarters. Civil Aviation and Tourism Secretary Nasreen Jahan served as the chief guest at the ceremony, which was also attended by CAAB Chairman Air Vice Marshal Md Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan, according to a press release.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Nafisa Hossain Marwa, an HSC candidate from Sahaj Uddin Sarkar Higher Secondary School, tragically lost her life in Savar on August 5. The newly opened day care centre aims to offer a secure and nurturing environment for the children of CAAB employees, thereby allowing parents to concentrate better on their work.

The centre can accommodate up to 30 children aged six months to three years and is equipped with various facilities, including a soundproof sleeping area, play zone, breastfeeding corner, food zone, reading area, and television. For added convenience, the centre provides app
liances such as an oven, refrigerator, child-friendly washrooms, geyser, water purifier, rides, and toys.

In addition to its facilities, the day care employs trained staff and pre-school teachers to offer comprehensive care and early education. The inauguration was also attended by Nafisa Hossain Marwa’s family members and Mir Mahbubur Rahmnan Snigdha, the Chief Executive Officer of the July Martyrs Memorial Foundation and brother of martyr Mugdha.
