Dhaka: BTF Junior, Open and Masters tennis competition begins tomorrow at Ramna National Tennis Court Complex in the capital. The tournament, managed by the Bangladesh Tennis Federation, is scheduled to take place every Friday and Saturday throughout this month.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the competition will feature various categories for participants. The junior events will cater to boys and girls across multiple age groups, including U-8, U-9, U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16, and U-18. The open and masters events are set to occur at a later stage of the competition.
For the men’s categories, the singles events will include age brackets of 30+, 40+, and 50+, along with an open category. Similarly, the men’s masters doubles will feature age groups of 30+, 40+, and 50+, as well as an open category.
In the women’s division, the singles events will also have age brackets of 30+, 40+, and 50+, in addition to an open category. The women’s doubles will follow the same age group structure, including 30+, 40+, and 50+ categories.
